Here I Come. @ 19:50

Went to temburong today. with the school's adventure club people, mimi, qeelah and mizah. i had to wake up so early in the morning, like 5+. got ready, packed my bag with loads of snacks ;p and went to pick mimi up. We went to the jetty or whatever you call that which is at kianggeh or was it kota batu? lol i have no idea. then we went on the boat and we had to use the puffy looking bright flurocent eye-hurting striking orange live jacket. i got the small one cause i'm thin? yeah. got sea sick and almost puked D: we reached temburong in about 1 hour. some girl told us to go buy shoes for hiking but too bad. the shop was closed. then we went on a bus and the bus driver drove us to sumbiling eco village. he dropped us at the entrance and we had to walk a long way along the icky muddy slippery road. there was this signboard which says 'selamat datai' which means 'welcome' in an iban or dusun language. i don't remember. then we all had to go to this little pondok where we had to take our shoes off. this one guy names 'leslie' who is one of the people in charge there gave a briefing about the forest and what we shouldn't do when we were in there. we were seperated into 4 groups. mimi and mizah were in the same group and qeelah and i in another. then we set off. we went on this little kayak and went to the other side of the river which is the forest. we walked and walked for a long time. it was really far and exhausting. i even tried to drink the water from the tree. it taste just like normal water. after a while we reached a stream. we had to go into the freezing ice-cold water and walk our way to this one place where we were given large bamboo sticks, floaters and rope. each team had to make their on raft. we made ours and then we had to balance the raft. i paddled it all the way with a long stick. it was fun! ;D then we reached this stop where we had to walk back up the hill and back to the temburong river. we crossed the temburong river using a rope. not all of us did tho cause it started to rain. but i had a chance to (: we went back to the little pondok and took our backpacks. we showered in the open bathroom when it was raining, with our clothes on. lol. funn! but kinda messy D: cause it was too crowded. then we went back again to the little pondok and had our lunch. after that we walked back out to the bus waiting for us at the entrance. we went in the bus and back to the jetty and into the boat. got back at the brunei-muara jetty and waited for my car to come. sent mimi home and went back home to have a nice shower (: maybe im going back to temburong again in june for a 4 day trip with the school again. yay! that's it for now. tata
